We had our annual gingerbread making and decorating day. It was yummy and fun.
Audrey and Strauss were happy to have their great grandmother here to join them.
We had an assortment of candies, including gum drops, Necco wafers and colorful candies from the bulk bins.
Necco wafers make the best roofs. This year I didn't make the whole gingerbread house, I used house cookie cutters instead.
It's hard to beat decorating gingerbread with your great grandma. Yes siree.

Days with great grandmas are the best! Sweet memories, indeed.

Your gingerbread house cookies look so yummy and festive. So wonderful that Strauss and Audrey could make sweet memories with their great-grandma!
Hugs,
Jill
PS: I have that same cookie cutter~ I bought it to make little house cookies for my housewarming last year. It was my first and only attempt at royal icing. It wasn't pretty. One of these days I'll get the courage to try again!
